Description
"Damn," said a voice. "It hurts." He gripped his arm but winced in pain.
"Yo," someone said. "You okay?" He looked up to see a girl younger than him in a military jacket, faded blue jean shorts, and a cap. He assumed she was a non-picky shopper. Her hair was a grayish-black with mostly red hues in random places. She had two different color eye colors, red and white. She also had really pale skin, as if she was fragile and sick. There were reddish marks that went from somewhere on her body to the top of her eyes. It reminded him of twin snakes.
"I asked if you were okay," she said coldly. "Answer me."
"I'm fine," he whispered.
"Doesn't look like it to me."
He gritted his teeth. "Can't you show some sympathy for me-"
"You mean pity," she interrupted. Her voice sent a chill down his spine. "That's not in my department. You're lucky enough that I actually came over here. I'm the type of person that usually ignores but, my brother was involved... again."
Her brother? "What are you talking about?" he asked.
She just stared. "We don't know each other enough for you to know," she said. She dug into her pocket and pulled something out. It was a wad of money. His eyes widened as she took a generous amount and threw it on the ground in front of him.
"What is..." He looked up but she was starting to walk away. "Wait!"
She turned around partially. Her eyes were narrowed. "What," she asked.
He stumbled on his words. "W-w-what's your name?"
The girl just raised her eyebrows and started laughing out loud. "You sure are a catch, ain't ya," she said in an amused tone. She pointed to herself and grinned. "Just call me Jealous." She turned and walked away.
Jealous, huh. "What a weird name," he mumbled.
"I heard that," she yelled. He jumped and stared at her. How could she hear if she was so far away. His eyes widened as he looked closer. There were people avoiding her. Some were afraid. Some were laughing and pointing. He now saw the reason why. He looked at her back. There was a tail, of a demon. She had her cap in her hand and he saw that she had ears. She was a hybrid, a cross between a demon and a werewolf.
She turned her head and grinned at him. She tried to look like it wasn't a problem, but her eyebrows were furrowed. The next time he looked up, there was no trace of her. He blushed with curiosity and excitement. "I can't wait to see her again," he said.

Short chapter. They're all going to be short due to my... loss of inspiration..? I've noticed that the people in my stories are alike... like Jealous and Blaze.
Yes yes, Violetta is 'incognito.' Spying on Jealous. (-COUGHCOUGH- STALKER) And some other people not involved in the story in the background (NOT INCLUDING THE YELLOW-HAIRED GIRL AND BLACK-HAIR GUY) like ~R4nk and one of my OCs. O U O; cuz I felt like it.
